Here’s a quick and easy recipe using Okra with potatoes & tomatoes spiced with our @basolisauces All-Spice Mix!


The following are steps in making this delicious meal:

  1. Cut fresh okra into small pieces. (1-2lbs)
  2. Cut 1 potato into small cubes and chop 1 fresh tomato.
  3. Chop 2 onions.
  4. In a saucepan, add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of whole cumin.
  5. Add the potatoes and onions and cook on low/medium heat until the potatoes are half-cooked.
  6. Add the okra to the pan and 2 tablespoons of Basoli All spice mix.
  7. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
  8. Let it simmer on low/medium heat until the okra is cooked. Add tomatoes on top and let it sit for a few minutes.
  9. I served this dish with some homemade roti but you can substitute it with rice, pasta, or bread.
